Kimberly first started visiting the Coachella Valley in the early 1980’s when her parents purchased a home and became founding members of Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage. Kimberly’s family moved to the Desert full time in 1985 and the Greater Palm Springs Area became her “home”. After graduating with a degree in business administration from University of San Diego, she went on to get her J.D. from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kimberly moved back “home” with her husband and began practicing Real Estate and Business Law.
Kimberly’s practice included representation of numerous local developers, homeowners’ associations, and public and private/non-profit entities. Some of her clients included SunLine Transit Agency, Cocopah Nurseries, The Palm Golf Club, The Plantation Golf Club, Rancho La Quinta Country Club, and the Blixseth Group. She was involved in all aspects of real estate from land acquisition, entitlement and homeowner’s associations. Notably, Kimberly served as general counsel for The Blixseth Group and assisted in entitling and developing Porcupine Creek, a private golf residence now owned by Oracle founder Larry Ellison. As a way to give back, Kimberly served pro-bono as the incorporating attorney for numerous local charities including The Children's Discovery Museum, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Coachella Valley, The Palm Springs Air Museum, and The Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation.
Kimberly’s husband Greg is also an attorney and serves as the co-chair of the National Real Estate Practice group of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard and Smith, while also being the managing partner of their Indian Wells Office. Kimberly and her husband have 3 children who were born and raised in the Coachella Valley. They reside in Rancho La Quinta Country Club where they enjoy everything the Desert has to offer.
